Bluetooth: btusb: Do not call kfree_skb() under spin_lock_irqsave()
...
It is not allowed to call kfree_skb() from hardware interrupt
context or with hardware interrupts being disabled.
So replace kfree_skb() with dev_kfree_skb_irq() under
spin_lock_irqsave(). Compile tested only.

Bluetooth: btusb: Fix quirks table naming

The quirks table was named "blacklist_table" which isn't a good

Rename the table to match what it actually does.

Bluetooth: btusb: mediatek: add MediaTek devcoredump support
...
This patch implement function .coredump() and dmp_hdr() in btusb
driver for MediaTek controller. FW core dump was triggered by FW
specific event to show something unexpected happened in the controller.
The driver would be responsible for collecting and uploading the device
core dump pieces in hci driver using core dump API. Once we finished
the whole process, the driver would reset the controller to recover the
kind of fatal error.

Bluetooth: btintel: Add support to reset bluetooth via ACPI DSM
...
New Intel platforms supports reset of Bluetooth device via ACPI DSM
methods. The legacy reset mechanism via GPIO will be deprecated in
future. This patch checks the platform support for reset methods and if
supported uses the same instead of legacy GPIO toggling method.
ACPI firmware supports two types of reset method based on NIC card.
(Discrete or Integrated).
1. VSEC Type - Vendor Specific Extended Capability. Here BT_EN and
BT_IF_SELECT lines are driven by a register in PCH cluster. This
interface is supported on discrete BT solution.
2. WDISABLE2 - In this soluton, W_DISABLE2 pin in M.2 is connected to
physical GPIO from PCH. The DSM interface shall toggle this to recover
from error.

Bluetooth: btusb: Fix bluetooth on Intel Macbook 2014
...
Commit c13380a555
("Bluetooth: btusb: Do not require hardcoded
interface numbers") inadvertedly broke bluetooth on Intel Macbook 2014.
The intention was to keep behavior intact when BTUSB_IFNUM_2 is set and
otherwise allow any interface numbers. The problem is that the new logic
condition omits the case where bInterfaceNumber is 0.
Fix BTUSB_IFNUM_2 handling by allowing both interface number 0 and 2
when the flag is set.

Bluetooth: btusb: Do not require hardcoded interface numbers
...
Remove hardcoded interface number check because Bluetooth specification
since version 4.0 only recommends and no longer requires specific
interface numbers.
While earlier Bluetooth versions, i.e. 2.1 + EDR and 3.0 + HS, contain
required configuration table in Volume 4 - Host Controller Interface
Part B - USB Transport Layer, Bluetooth Core Specification Addendum 2
changes the table from required to recommended configuration.

Bluetooth: Work around SCO over USB HCI design defect
...
The USB interface between the host and the bluetooth adapter used for
SCO packets uses an USB isochronous endpoint with a fragmentation scheme
that does not tolerate errors. Except USB isochronous transfers do
not provide a reliable stream with guaranteed delivery. (There is no
retry on error, see USB spec v2.0 5.6 and 8.5.5.)
To fragment a packet, the bluetooth HCI simply splits it in parts and
transfer them as-is. The receiver is expected to reconstruct the packet
by assuming the first fragment contains the header and parsing its size
field. There is no error detection either.
If a fragment is lost, the end result is that the kernel is no longer
synchronized and will pass malformed data to the upper layers, since it
has no way to tell if the first fragment is an actual first fragment or
a continuation fragment. Resynchronization can only happen by luck and
requires an unbounded amount of time.
The typical symptom for a HSP/HFP bluetooth headset is that the
microphone stops working and dmesg contains piles of rate-limited
"Bluetooth: hci0: SCO packet for unknown connection handle XXXX"
errors for an indeterminate amount of time, until the kernel accidentally
resynchronize.
A workaround is to ask the upper layer to prevalidate the first fragment
header. This is not possible with user channels so this workaround is
disabled in this case.
This problem is the most severe when using an ath3k adapter on an i.MX 6
board, where packet loss occur regularly, possibly because it is an USB1
device connected on an USB2 hub and this is a special case requiring
split transactions.

Bluetooth: btusb: Add debug message for CSR controllers
...
The rationale of showing this is that it's potentially critical
information to diagnose and find more CSR compatibility bugs in the
future and it will save a lot of headaches.
Given that clones come from a wide array of vendors (some are actually
Barrot, some are something else) and these numbers are what let us find
differences between actual and fake ones, it will be immensely helpful
to scour the Internet looking for this pattern and building an actual
database to find correlations and improve the checks.

Bluetooth: btusb: Fix CSR clones again by re-adding ERR_DATA_REPORTING quirk

quirk/workaround because they thought it was unnecessary.
It wasn't, and it broke everything again:

He argues that the quirk is not necessary because the code should check
if the dongle says if it's supported or not. The problem is that for
these Chinese CSR clones they say that it would work:

Bluetooth: btusb: mediatek: fix WMT failure during runtime suspend
...
WMT cmd/event doesn't follow up the generic HCI cmd/event handling, it
needs constantly polling control pipe until the host received the WMT
event, thus, we should require to specifically acquire PM counter on the
USB to prevent the interface from entering auto suspended while WMT
cmd/event in progress.

Core driver addtionally checks LMP feature bit "Erroneous Data Reporting"
instead of quirk HCI_QUIRK_BROKEN_ERR_DATA_REPORTING to decide if HCI
commands HCI_Read|Write_Default_Erroneous_Data_Reporting are broken, so
remove this unnecessary quirk for fake CSR controllers.

Bluetooth: btusb: Remove HCI_QUIRK_BROKEN_ERR_DATA_REPORTING for QCA
...
Core driver addtionally checks LMP feature bit "Erroneous Data Reporting"
instead of quirk HCI_QUIRK_BROKEN_ERR_DATA_REPORTING to decide if HCI
commands HCI_Read|Write_Default_Erroneous_Data_Reporting are broken, so
remove this unnecessary quirk for QCA controllers.
The reason why these two HCI commands are broken for QCA controllers is
that feature "Erroneous Data Reporting" is not enabled by their firmware
as shown by below log:

Bluetooth: btusb: Use quirk to skip HCI_FLT_CLEAR_ALL on fake CSR controllers
...
Another subset of the more recent batch of Chinese clones aren't
specs-compliant and seem to lock up whenever they receive a
HCI_OP_SET_EVENT_FLT with flt_type set to zero/HCI_FLT_CLEAR_ALL,
which on Linux (until the recent HCI state-machine refactor) happened
right at BR/EDR setup. As there are other less-straightforward ways
of reaching those operations, this patch is still relevant.
So, while all the previous efforts to wrangle the herd of fake CSRs
seem to be paying off (and these also get detected as such) we
still need to take care of this quirk; testers seem to agree
that these dongles tend to work well enough afterwards.
From some cursory USB packet capture on Windows it seems like
that driver doesn't appear to use this clear-all functionality at all.
This patch was tested on some really popular AliExpress-style
dongles, in my case marked as "V5.0". Chip markings: UG8413,
the backside of the PCB says "USB Dangel" (sic).
Here is the `hciconfig -a` output; for completeness:

Also, changed the benign dmesg print that shows up whenever the
generic force-suspend fails from bt_dev_err to bt_dev_warn;
it's okay and done on a best-effort basis, not a problem
if that does not work.
Also, swapped the HCI subver and LMP subver numbers for the Barrot
in the comment, which I copied wrong the last time around.

Bluetooth: mediatek: fix the conflict between mtk and msft vendor event
...
There is a conflict between MediaTek wmt event and msft vendor extension
logic in the core layer since 145373cb1b
("Bluetooth: Add framework for
Microsoft vendor extension") was introduced because we changed the type of
mediatek wmt event to the type of msft vendor event in the driver.
But the purpose we reported mediatek event to the core layer is for the
diagnostic purpose with that we are able to see the full packet trace via
monitoring socket with btmon. Thus, it is harmless we keep the original
type of mediatek vendor event here to avoid breaking the msft extension
function especially they can be supported by Mediatek chipset like MT7921
, MT7922 devices and future devices.

Bluetooth: btintel: Fix broken LED quirk for legacy ROM devices
...
This patch fixes the broken LED quirk for Intel legacy ROM devices.
To fix the LED issue that doesn't turn off immediately, the host sends
the SW RFKILL command while shutting down the interface and it puts the
devices in SW RFKILL state.
Once the device is in SW RFKILL state, it can only accept HCI_Reset to
exit from the SW RFKILL state. This patch checks the quirk for broken
LED and sends the HCI_Reset before sending the HCI_Intel_Read_Version
command.

Bluetooth: btusb: Add support for queuing during polling interval
...
This makes btusb to queue ACL and events during a polling interval
by using of a delayed work, with the interval working as a time window
where frames received from different endpoints are considered to be
arrived at same time and then attempt to resolve potential conflics by
processing the events ahead of ACL packets.
It worth noting though that priorizing events over ACL data may result
in inverting the order compared to how they appeared over the air, for
instance there may be packets received before a disconnect event that
will be discarded and unencrypted packets received before encryption
change which would considered encrypted, because of these potential
changes on the order the support for queuing during the polling
interval is not enabled by default so it requires setting
force_poll_sync debugfs while the adapter is down.

Bluetooth: btusb: Cancel sync commands for certain URB errors
...
Cancel sync commands when transmission of URBs fail. This is done for
both failures to send a command URB and also when the interrupt URB used
to retrieve a response fails.
This approach is sufficient to quickly deal with certain errors such as
a device being disconnected while synchronous commands are done during
initialization.

Bluetooth: btusb: re-definition for board_id in struct qca_version
...
The board ID should be split into two bytes.
The 1st byte is chip ID, and the 2nd byte is platform ID.
For example, board ID 0x010A, 0x01 is platform ID. 0x0A is chip ID.
we have several platforms, and platform IDs are continuously added.
We would not distinguish different chips if we get these mixed up.
Platform ID:
0x00 is for Mobile
0x01 is for X86
0x02 is for Automotive
0x03 is for Consumer electronic
