ae286bd7e9 soc: renesas: Introduce ARCH_RCAR_GEN4
Currently, all Kconfig symbols for R-Car Gen4 SoCs select the
ARCH_RCAR_GEN3 SoC family symbol, which might confuse the casual reader.

Fix this by introducing a new SoC family symbol for R-Car Gen4 SoCs.
For now this just selects ARCH_RCAR_GEN3, to avoid duplication, and to
relax dependencies.

385903a7ec SoC driver updates for 6.7
The highlights for the driver support this time are

  - Qualcomm platforms gain support for the Qualcomm Secure Execution
Environment firmware interface to access EFI variables on certain
devices, and new features for multiple platform and firmware drivers.

  - Arm FF-A firmware support gains support for v1.1 specification features,
in particular notification and memory transaction descriptor changes.

  - SCMI firmware support now support v3.2 features for clock and DVFS
configuration and a new transport for Qualcomm platforms.

  - Minor cleanups and bugfixes are added to pretty much all the active
platforms: qualcomm, broadcom, dove, ti-k3, rockchip, sifive, amlogic,
atmel, tegra, aspeed, vexpress, mediatek, samsung and more.
In particular, this contains portions of the treewide conversion to
use __counted_by annotations and the device_get_match_data helper.

       59 | void __init_or_module andes_errata_patch_func(struct alt_entry *begin, struct alt_entry *end,

On RISC-V, alternatives are not usable in XIP kernels, which this
randconfig happened to select. Rather than add a check for whether
alternatives are available before selecting the ERRATA_ANDES config
option, rework the R9A07G043 Kconfig entry to depend on the
configuration options required to support its non-standard cache
coherency implementation.

Without these options enabled, the SoC is effectively non-functional to
begin with, so there's an extra benefit in preventing the creation of
non-functional kernels.

The "if RISCV_DMA_NONCOHERENT" can be dropped, as ERRATA_ANDES_CMO will
select it.

c1ec4b450a soc: renesas: Make ARCH_R9A07G043 (riscv version) depend on NONPORTABLE
Drew found "CONFIG_DMA_GLOBAL_POOL=y causes ADMA buffer alloc to fail"
the log looks like:

mmc0: Unable to allocate ADMA buffers - falling back to standard DMA

The logic is: generic riscv defconfig selects ARCH_RENESAS then
ARCH_R9A07G043 which selects DMA_GLOBAL_POOL, which assumes all
non-dma-coherent riscv platforms have a dma global pool, this assumption
seems not correct. And I believe DMA_GLOBAL_POOL should not be
selected by ARCH_SOCFAMILIY, instead, only ARCH under some specific
conditions can select it globaly, for example NOMMU ARM and so on,
because it's designed for special cases such as "nommu cases where
non-cacheable memory lives in a fixed place in the physical address
map" as pointed out by Robin.

Fix the issue by making ARCH_R9A07G043 (riscv version) depend on
NONPORTABLE, thus generic defconfig won't select ARCH_R9A07G043 by
default. And even for random config case, there will be less debug
effort once we see NONPORTABLE is enabled.

4ff2711228 soc: renesas: Remove ARCH_R8A7795
Replace the final user of CONFIG_ARCH_R8A7795 by CONFIG_ARCH_R8A77950 ||
CONFIG_ARCH_R8A77951, and remove the now unused CONFIG_ARCH_R8A7795
symbol definition.

408324a3c5 ARM: shmobile: Enable ARM_GLOBAL_TIMER on Cortex-A9 MPCore SoCs
SH-Mobile AG5 and R-Car H1 SoCs are based on the Cortex-A9 MPCore, which
includes a global timer.

Enable the ARM global timer on these SoCs, which will be used for:
  - the scheduler clock, improving scheduler accuracy from 10 ms to 3 or
    4 ns,
  - delay loops, allowing removal of calls to shmobile_init_delay() from
    the corresponding machine vectors.

Note that when using an old DTB lacking the global timer, the kernel
will still work. However, loops-per-jiffies will no longer be preset,
and the delay loop will need to be calibrated during boot.

b925adfceb soc: renesas: Add ARCH_R8A7795[01] for existing R-Car H3
Despite using the same compatible values ("r8a7795"-based) because of
historical reasons, R-Car H3 ES1.x (R8A77950) and R-Car H3 ES2.0+
(R8A77951) are really different SoCs, with different part numbers.

Reflect this in the SoC configuration, by adding CONFIG_ARCH_R8A77950
and CONFIG_ARCH_R8A77951 as new config symbols. These are intended to
replace CONFIG_ARCH_R8A7795, and will allow making support for early SoC
revisions optional.

Note that for now, CONFIG_ARCH_R8A7795 is retained, and just selects
CONFIG_ARCH_R8A77950 and CONFIG_ARCH_R8A77951. This relaxes
dependencies of other subsystems on the SoC configuration symbol, and
provides a smooth transition path for config files through "make
oldconfig".

bdde3d3ec9 soc: renesas: rcar-sysc: Add R8A77961 support
Add support for the power areas in the Renesas R-Car M3-W+ (R8A77961)
SoC to the R-Car System Controller driver.

R-Car M3-W+ (aka R-Car M3-W ES3.0) is very similar to R-Car
M3-W (R8A77960), which allows for both SoCs to share a driver:
  - R-Car M3-W+ lacks the A2VC power area, so its area must be
    nullified,
  - The existing support for the SYSCEXTMASK register added in commit
9bd645af9d2a49ac ("soc: renesas: r8a7796-sysc: Fix power request
conflicts") applies to ES3.0 and later only.
As R-Car M3-W+ uses a different compatible value, differentiate
based on that, instead of on the ES version.

Based on a patch in the BSP by Dien Pham <dien.pham.ry@renesas.com>.
