irq_domain_add_*() interfaces are going away as being obsolete now. Switch to the preferred irq_domain_create_*() ones. Those differ in the node parameter: They take more generic struct fwnode_handle instead of struct device_node. Therefore, of_fwnode_handle() is added around the original parameter. Note some of the users can likely use dev->fwnode directly instead of indirect of_fwnode_handle(dev->of_node). But dev->fwnode is not guaranteed to be set for all, so this has to be investigated on case to case basis (by people who can actually test with the HW). There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use make htmldocs or
make pdfdocs. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
