A menu plugin doesn't need to recommend a specific menu editor.
This also means that the whiskermenu plugin can be built without
gobject-introspection being present, which means menulibre is unbuildable.

libpcre is needed. Previously, it's available because glib-2.0 depends
on it. Now glib-2.0 has been upgraded and it now depends on libpcre2.

or not as it make libxfce4ui depend on libepoxy when x11 enabled in

Never understood why we disappoint users by creating packages that behave
differently from what they are used to in non-embedded distributions.
Particularly when not saving build time: xfce4-notifyd which is a center
component of XFCE and should be part of any useful image depends upon libnotify
unconditionally.

Layer priority is the ultimate decider of what recipe is used: if layer
A has recipe foo_1 and layer B has recipe foo_2, if layer A's priority
is higher than B then foo_1 will be used, even though the version in B
is higher, and even if PREFERRED_VERSION_foo is set to 2.
This complicates recipes moving between layers, for example when a newer
version of a recipe (say, python3-wheel) is taken from a layer with a
higher priority (say, meta-python) and moved to a layer with a lower
priority (say, oe-core) then it has to be removed before it is added:
there is no way to have it in both layers and work correctly.
Higher priorities are useful in distribution layers where you may want
to override specific recipes without any other fuss. However as all of
the layers in meta-oe simply add more recipes in defined areas, there's
no need to have a higher layer priority.

An issue was discovered in Thunar before 4.16.7 and 4.17.x before 4.17.2.
When called with a regular file as a command-line argument, it delegates
to a different program (based on the file type) without user confirmation.
This could be used to achieve code execution.

* Both dependencies upower/libgtop are optional so add PACKAGECONFIG and enable
both because they are worth it.
* The term '(uses libgtop as a fallback)' below is a bit misleading: In
xfce4-systemload-plugin-1.3.1/panel-plugin/network.c we find whole code
wrapped by #ifdef HAVE_LIBGTOP / #endif. So in case libgtop is not found
nothing of value is compiled.

Command install is from package coreutils. And there is coreutils 8.22

This macro takes care of setting up the version numbering.
It will define the following macros based on SEMVER and TAG:
- xdt_version
- xdt_version_major
- xdt_version_minor
- xdt_version_micro
- xdt_version_tag
- xdt_version_build
- xdt_debug_default
If TAG isn't specified, the xdt_version_tag and xdt_version_git
will be empty and xdt_debug_default will be set to "minimum",
otherwise the xdt_version_build will contain a git hash and
xdt_debug_default will be set to "yes"
Example usage:
XDT_VERSION_INIT([4.15.3],[git])

- XDT_I18N macro will now automatically find the linguas if none are
specified during the autoconf run.
- Install m4 macros in default search dir. This makes autoconf find the
macros by default.
By setting version via XDT_VERSION_INIT and using XDT_I18N without
arguments,
this is no longer necessary to use a separate configure.ac.in and a
plain configure.ac can be used !

- xfce4-dev-tools now also handle the CI (docker container,
.gitlab-ci.yml templates files etc) on our new gitlab instance. A merge

openzone and rodent-icon-theme are allarch but recently
gtk-icon-cache, since commit 31e3d34c8a9c3e8481aa837aa0bf52adf095fe62
[gtk-icon-cache.bbclass: add runtime dependency], it start depend on
non-allarch packages gdk-pixbuf and gtk+3, which make it's signature
changes when machine changed.

packagegroup-core-x11 drags stuff not everybody needs e.g xserver-nodm-init and
that's not what everybody wants. packagegroup-core-x11 is something to add into
images.
This reverts commit 394567c0078c627642e7b80b722f147da5a6f376:

without packagegroup-core-x11, after boot target, and run
startx, it will report error like:
/usr/bin/startx: line 203: xauth: command not found
xinit: unable to run server "/usr/bin/X": No such file or directory
Use the -- option, or make sure that /usr/bin is in your path and
that "/usr/bin/X" is a program or a link to the right type of server
for your display. Possible server names include:
Xorg Common X server for most displays
Xvfb Virtual frame buffer
Xfake kdrive-based virtual frame buffer
Xnest X server nested in a window on anot

This is a maintenance release of xfconf for Xfce 4.14
Use 'gsettings' as a common channel name for the GSetting backend
Bug #14789 Fix GSettings backend assertion error, when probed but not
used.
Bug #15960: Add some missing xfconf_shutdown() in xfconf-query
Bug #15951: Fix 'xfconf_get_error_quark' introspecting warning
Translation updates: gl, hr, zh_CN, sl, sq, be, da, el, es, hu, zh_TW,
he.
Although the GSetting backend is fixed with this release, it is still
disabled by default on Xfce 4.14 branch, to maintain the same installed
files. It can be enabled with --enable-gsettings-backend compile time
tunable and used by setting GSETTINGS_BACKEND=xfconf.
