Debug packages of klibc-based recipe contains reference to TMPDIR and
fail to build since "buildpaths" is a ERROR_QA: For example, from [0]:
stdio: ERROR: kexec-tools-klibc-2.0.18+git-r0 do_package_qa: QA Issue: File /usr/sbin/.debug/kexec in package kexec-tools-klibc-dbg contains reference to TMPDIR
stdio: ERROR: kexecboot-klibc-0.6+git-r0 do_package_qa: QA Issue: File /usr/bin/.debug/kexecboot in package kexecboot-klibc-dbg contains reference to TMPDIR [buildpaths]
stdio: ERROR: ubi-utils-klibc-2.0.2-r0 do_package_qa: QA Issue: File /usr/sbin/.debug/ubirename in package ubi-utils-klibc-dbg contains reference to TMPDIR
Fix this by adding DEBUG_PREFIX_MAP to the klibc build CFLAGS to rewrite
these paths in a reproducible way.

The previous dracut 056 was hopelessly outdated. When creating
an initramfs from a systemd based system with a recent systemd
version, booting failed with this error:
[ 1.906055] systemd[1]: Failed to open executor binary '/usr/lib/systemd/systemd-executor'
[ 1.912230] systemd[1]: Failed to allocate manager object: No such file or directory
[!!!!!!] Failed to allocate manager object
[ 1.912480] systemd[1]: Freezing execution
dracut-ng took over after development in the original dracut
repository stopped. Switched to the new source repository.
Dropped two patches upstreamed in dracut-ng.
Added a new patch that partially reverts a change that broke
creating an initramfs on the host using the cross-compiled
sysroot.

For now, the known non-reproducible packages list is stored inside the
autobuilder config.json file. This is not ideal. Let's move this list
into each layers of meta-openembedded.
These lists can be used with, in local.conf:
include conf/include/non-repro-meta-oe.inc
OEQA_REPRODUCIBLE_EXCLUDED_PACKAGES = "${KNOWN_NON_REPRO_META_OE}"

Newer versions of the GNU assembler (observed with binutils 2.41) will
complain about the ".arch i386" in files assembled with "as --64",
with the message "Error: 64bit mode not supported on 'i386'".
Fix by moving ".arch i386" below the relevant ".code32" directive, so
that the assembler is no longer expecting 64-bit instructions to be used
by the time that the ".arch i386" directive is encountered.

Following reproducible-builds.org recommendations, using compiler flags
like -ffile-prefix-map or -fdebug-prefix-map allows replace build-time
paths by install-time ones in the debugging sections of binaries.
Variable DEBUG_PREFIX_MAP set these flags correctly in yocto build
context to guarantee reproducible builds.

There is new patch-status QA check in oe-core:
https://git.openembedded.org/openembedded-core/commit/?id=76a685bfcf927593eac67157762a53259089ea8a
This is temporary work around just to hide _many_ warnings from
optional patch-status (if you add it to WARN_QA).
This just added
Upstream-Status: Pending
everywhere without actually investigating what's the proper status.
This is just to hide current QA warnings and to catch new .patch files being
added without Upstream-Status, but the number of Pending patches is now terrible:

Layer priority is the ultimate decider of what recipe is used: if layer
A has recipe foo_1 and layer B has recipe foo_2, if layer A's priority
is higher than B then foo_1 will be used, even though the version in B
is higher, and even if PREFERRED_VERSION_foo is set to 2.
This complicates recipes moving between layers, for example when a newer
version of a recipe (say, python3-wheel) is taken from a layer with a
higher priority (say, meta-python) and moved to a layer with a lower
priority (say, oe-core) then it has to be removed before it is added:
there is no way to have it in both layers and work correctly.
Higher priorities are useful in distribution layers where you may want
to override specific recipes without any other fuss. However as all of
the layers in meta-oe simply add more recipes in defined areas, there's
no need to have a higher layer priority.
