updated but the project remains available under MIT license.
The patch for test_runner.py is no longer needed because the same
fix has been already applied in the upstream. The new release
bring the following improvements:
- Bugfixes
- Improved documentation
- twisted.news is deprecated
- twisted.conch.ssh now supports the curve25519-sha256 key
exchange algorithm
- twisted.conch.ssh.keys can now write private keys in the new
"openssh-key-v1" format, introduced in OpenSSH 6.5 and made the
default in OpenSSH 7.8. ckeygen has a corresponding new
--private-key-subtype=v1 option.

This version has some file system permission issues, all
the files are readable by the owner only (in the archive
from pypi.org). Given all files in the target file system
will ultimately be owned by root, this means that this
package can only be used by root.
Fix the permissions, and hopefully the next version will
have the archive fixed. The version has been hard-coded
on purpose here so as to remind us to double-check if
the _append() is still needed after a version upgrade.

Pure python dbus library with support for various loop including asyncio
>From the readme:
DBussy allows you to take advantage of asyncio, but it doesn’t force
you to use it. DBussy is meant to give you access to (nearly) all the
functionality of the underlying libdbus library
<https://dbus.freedesktop.org/doc/api/html/index.html>. libdbus is a
very low-level, very general library, designed to be called from C
code, that makes no assumptions about event loops at all.

python3-importlib-metadata: RDEPEND python3-misc only for target and nativesdk
The RDEPENDS for class target was "appended" with +=
RDEPENDS_${PN}_class-target += "python3-misc"
Using += for class target does't append the dependencies to
the existing one, instead what it does is overwrite it.
This was causing the RDEPENDS to be wrongly set only to python3-misc
not including the one included in the inc file (zipp, pathlib2).
Use append instead.

The present version was not compatible with python 3.7 because async is
now the proper keyword. The reported werror was:
asyncio_ensure_future = asyncio.async # Python < 3.5
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

explains the reason of that.

Replaced 'cryptography' by the much small 'crypto' package.
With cryptography, the build is too big with e.g. cpp included.
PS: this was already a long time the mailinglist. I guess with my

Setting environment KOKORO_BUILD_NUMBER, the build will explicitly compile

Remove egg file build. This got introduced with commit fb1696372f
("python-vcversioner: Error Fix for recipes depend on
python-vcversioner"). However, it seems that this was actually not
related to the missing egg file, but to the back then missing depends
on python-vcversioner-native. This got fixed in commit 12d09665bb
("python-jsonschema, python3-jsonschema: add vcversioner-native
dependency").
It also causes issue when trying to build a reproducible build with a
timestamp of 0 due to limitations of the ZIP file format used by the
Python egg packaging.

Whereas the python-twisted-core package is used to install the minimum
components of python-twisted, the python-twisted package is
essentially a 'meta' package which installs all of the
python-twisted-* packages (used by folks that don't want to determine
which components they are interested in). Add additional packages to
the python-twisted 'meta' package.
NOTE: that there are still modules of python-twisted which have not
been ported to python3 (see src/twisted/python/_setup.py
"notPortedModules") so the installed packages for py2 vs. py3 will not
be the same (ie. python-twisted-news is only part of the py2 package).
