65e8bde9f1 bitbake: toaster: Remove Toaster exceptions section of build dashboard
Fatal build errors were displayed as exceptions, and highlighted
with less severity than they deserved.

Roll back to treating Toaster exceptions as errors by removing
the toaster_exceptions member on Build objects and displaying
EXCEPTION events in the errors section on the dashboard.

93f0b61749 bitbake: toaster: Record critical errors
Critical errors (where a build failed for reasons of
misconfiguration, such as a machine being specified which is not
in a project's layers) were being ignored (only log records
up to ERROR level were being logged to Toaster's db). This meant that
the build would fail but would not correctly report why.

Add support for CRITICAL error levels to the LogMessage model,
include errors at this level in the errors property for a build,
and show errors at this level in the build dashboard.

026e981264 bitbake: toaster: Check whether buildrequest exists before using it
Builds initiated from the command line don't have a buildrequest
associated with them. The build.buildrequest association is
only added if a build is triggered from toaster.

Some of the code for displaying the status of a build refers
to build.buildrequest without checking whether it has been set,
which causes an error to be thrown.

Add a guard to check whether the buildrequest has been set.

fa3e82d952 bitbake: toaster: delete recipe if it can't be saved
Due to Recipe model constraints some recipes can't be
saved. However, they still can create incomplete records in
the database. This causes all sorts of errors when Toaster
operates with those objects. Removing them should fix those
issues.

bd2ec77510 bitbake: toaster: implement API to get full list of deps
Implemented Layer_Version.get_alldeps API to recursively get
full list of dependencies for the layer. Dependencies that are
already in the project are filtered out from the result.
Result list of Layer_Version objects is sorted by layer name
for UI to look consistent.

This API is going to be used to show amount and list of
dependencies for the layer in the list of compatible layers
for the project.

214ba674d0 bitbake: toaster: Improve how default project is identified and fetched
Command line builds are associated with a "default project"
(as we currently require a build to have a project). This
acts as a container for builds initiated outside Toaster.
Currently, this project is marked as the default by its ID
being 0. However, this doesn't work with MySQL, as MySQL
won't allow 0 in a foreign key which references an
autoincrement field.

Instead, use an is_default field to track the default Project
for builds initiated outside Toaster.

Add a method to fetch this default project, rather than fetching
a project with a magic ID.

Add this default project in a migration, rather than as a side
effect of a get_or_create() style method.

Also ensure that builds always have a project explicitly assigned
to avoid any magic with a build's project foreign key defaulting to
0 (as it no longer does).

function as Project.compatible_layerversions, but in memory and

Replace the code in get_equivalents_wpriority with a call to

e3e85bdf71 bitbake: toaster logger: refactor recipe and layer file paths
This refactoring brings the "local_path" of the
layer from the Layer object to the Layer_Version object, which
is more appropriate as different checkouts of the same
Layer may live in different directories.

This enables us to store Recipe file paths relative to a Layer_Version
at all times, aleviating the need to store full file paths in the
database. We also turn the prefix of the path (e.g. virtual:native
path name space) into a pathflag field.

In turn, this solves the problem of mis-identification of tasks based
on the recipe file paths, since we can also match the namespace of the
file paths on the recipe files.

0b6859cdf3 bitbake: toastergui: layer name correlation
This patch modifies how layers are identified and matched.

Layers were primarely organized by the source of layer information,
and Releases were separated by both layer git branches and originating
source of layer information. This setup prevented mixing layers from
different sources for a certain release, which didn't match the way
people use Yocto Project / bitbake.

This patch brings name-based indentification, where layers with the
same name are assumed to be equivalent, in the sense of being able
to substitute one another. To facilitate this identification to
humans, layers are differentiated by GIT URI instead of layer sources,
which was a rather arbitrary abstraction.

Additional changes include modification to models in order accomodate
for the new data structure, and to config file loading to match
the new toasterconf.json layout.

We update the branch names based on the white-listed

have been validated to work with MySQL, and this patch updates

4cdd56fff3 bitbake: toaster: image information views
[YOCTO # 4346]

When a target image is selected, this commit adds to the toaster
project a two-tabbed page that shows
1) 'packages included' a table of packages included in the image
(see target.html), and
2) 'directory structure', the target image's file system directory
and detailed information showing the source of each file in the
directory table (see dirinfo.html).

The directory structure tab relies on the open source jQuery plugin
jtreetable which provides hierarchical table expansions and contractions
of the directory entry tables as the user drills down into directories.

A file of jtreetable styles that are compatible with other toaster styles
is provided included as css/jquery.treetable.theme.toaster.css. The
complete unaltered jtreetable plugin is added via a separate commit.

This work was developed base on the bugzilla specification number 4346
and the document "Design 1.1 Image information" attached to that report.

as to

* Changes outcome names from SSTATE to CACHED and
from EXISTING to PREBUILT

of Executed / script type NOEXEC. Script type NOEXEC is deleted.

* SetScene tasks do not get order numbers

to this task: Task.get_related_setscene()

* New custom TaskManager that allows searching for setscene tasks
related to a certain task: Task.objects.related_setscene(task)

1b636173ca bitbake: toaster: Toaster GUI, generic search, filter and order
This patch implements table searching, filtering and ordering, in a
generic mode reusable for all tables.

The search operates list of fields defined in the corresponding
class for each model, search_allowed_fields.

The search expression and filters are sent through GET requests
using a QuerySet-like input. The inputs are filtered and
validated before usage to prevent inadvertent or malicious use.

Filters and table headers are defined in the views for each table,
and rendered by generic code which is easily modified for various
tables.

The Build table and Configuration table are implemented using this
framework as an example of how it should be used.

54d0e30433 bitbake: toaster: change package storage model
Up until this patch, package information lived in two
places - one table for build packages and one table for
target installed packaged. This situation leads to
two problems: there is no direct link between a build
package and a installed package, and a lot of data is duplicated.

This change unifies all package types in a single table.
The SimpleUI remains the same for continuity sake,
but the REST API will be changed in a future patch.

The package dependencies and package files are now
kept in a single table.

Since we collect target installed package information at all times,
we need to expand it to supplement missing information if a
package is not actually built in the current build.

Small changes to the Simple UI reflect the updated database schema.

9fdd8adc17 bitbake: cooker, toaster: variable definition tracking
In order to track the file where a configuration
variable was defined, this patch bring these changes:

* a new feature is defined in CookerFeatures, named
BASEDATASTORE_TRACKING. When a UI requests BASEDATASTORE_TRACKING,
the base variable definition are tracked when configuration
is parsed.

* getAllKeysWithFlags now includes variable history in the
data dump

* toaster_ui.py will record the operation, file path
and line number where the variable was changes

* toaster Simple UI will display the file path
and line number for Configuration page

There is a change in the models to accomodate the recording
of variable change history.

2445b313a2 bitbake: toaster: fix tasks showing as NoExec
Tasks without script type information showed by default
as NoExec; this happens for all Prebuild or Covered
tasks, as script type information comes only on TaskStarted
event. Such a default value may drive confusion, as NoExec value
should be reserved for the NoExec-flagged tasks.

This patch adds a new default value named Unknown that will be
used for all tasks that don't have script type information
available.

85b9194171 bitbake: build, toaster: record proper task type
Bitbake tasks may be of type 'python' or 'shell',
or they may not be executed at all, which is record
as task type 'noexec'.

In order to record proper task type, this patch:

* creates no exec task type as the default value in
the toaster model definition

* adds full task flags to the bb.build.TaskStarted event
in build.py

* if the task actually starts, the toaster ui will
record the type of the task as either 'python' or 'shell'
based on the task flags.

164ab730cc bitbake: toaster: add toaster code to bitbake
This patch adds the Toaster component to Bitbake.

Toaster is a module designed to record the progress of a
Bitbake build, and data about the resultant artifacts.

It contains a web-based interface and a REST API allowing
post-facto inspection of the build process and artifacts.

Features present in this build:
* toaster start script
* relational data model
* Django boilerplate code
* the REST API
* the Simple UI web interface

This patch has all the development history squashed together.
