4b2f075516 yocto-layer / yocto-bsp: tweak layer.conf comment 
We have recipes-* directories not a recipes directory; this is left over
from the old old layout (2010).

a785a9d9af layer.conf: avoid unnecessary early expansion with := 
bitbake handles immediate expansions of LAYERDIR for us automatically.
